Creating a compassionate culture allows us to bring our humanity into our collective engagements so that we can work together to solve our most pressing issues.
If we want to put people over profit we have to consider the ways that our society strips us of our humanity and inspires toxic cultures to be created in the first place. So many people are struggling to get through their daily lives and we don't have to make it harder for any of us when we can simply create environments people feel safe contributing to.

We’ll be exploring questions concerning developing shared language, engaging true inclusion, how to create abundance from scarcity to create a theory of change and a vision for our impact.

Session Themes
Creating A Safe Space
With so much talk about diversity and inclusion, I want to have discussions about what is means to create a safe space for honest conversations. Many of us are living in fundamentally different realities, with unique cultural influences, socioeconomic backgrounds, and methods of communication. When words don’t mean the same things across different cultural narratives, and what is offensive in one community is not in another community. At every turn in life right now we’re running the risk of offending or being offended for a simple lack of awareness.
Creating Compassionate Cultures
So many of our business, social, and economic models were created with only one identity represented in the room, leaving out the perspectives, cultures, beliefs, and humanity of literally everyone else. These ideas have been woven into how we do business on every level and even how we communicate. This session exposes rules and practices we have the power to redesign in order to benefit and support everyone in the room.
Envisioning Our Impact
Developing a shared vision is essential to fostering sustainable community change. This session is designed to provide a cohesive envisioning strategy with an executable plan that avoids unintended consequences and fosters revitalization alongside community input.
